he is holding her hand, looking at her eyes while waiting for an answer. the rain is pouring hard outside the open door. few drips of rain have reached the entrance because of the strong winds. the storm keeps getting stronger. the darkness of the night seemed to grow darker because of it.
she stood there in silence looking down to her feet. avoiding any eye contacts as much as possible. their wet clothes doesn't seem to bother them, at least to him. he's burning with desire to leave the place with her. his first love. the girl who stole his heart ever since. her clothes are wet. her hair is wet. water is dripping from her hair to her clothes down to her feet. her wet white t-shirt has stuck on her skin. her bosom and waist seemed almost visible to his naked eye. she's shivering. not because its cold. the rain perfectly masked her tears. and he knows she's crying.
"we must go.." he mumbled.
they just broke up and she haven't yet recovered from it. he knows that. and he believes that this is the best time that she needs someone by her side. and he's the right guy to play that part.
he grabbed her cold hand and started to run outside the heavy rain. he sees her running with him but his hands felt empty. as if she started to fade. and with that he halted. looked back and stared into his hands. once again, he was left all alone under the rain.
he stood there for few minutes. letting the rain mask his face. he whispered..
"i am ready to let my emotions wash over me.. but i guess she isn't yet.."
